Room Philosophy
The Koala Room has
a structured daily routine that is both stimulating and educational
with the aim of preparing each individual child for school. The staff
promote self-help skills at all times, and encourage play in ways which
aid turn-taking, and interactions that support caring friendships.
All children are physically motivated within our outdoor play facilities
and group circuit sessions. We provide programmed activities to aid
children’s individual intellectual development, linking in pre-school
numbers and colours and the writing of their own name.
Group times are structured to aid listening skills and to promote social
interaction, taught in a caring and happy environment.
